No server-side deletion request is needed: there is no Karpool account or developer-operated database containing your gameplay profile.
What is stored locally
Karpool can store settings, microphone configuration, player profiles and an optional picture, song and round recovery state, scores, downloaded songs, and rolling diagnostic logs. Companion can store its editable name, random identifier, preferences, short-lived reconnect information, and rolling logs.
When a phone joins a game, the Karpool device can also keep that Companion’s name and random identifier, the player names, and the round’s scores. To remove them, clear Karpool’s data on the device that ran the game, or ask its owner to do so. With Android Auto, Karpool’s data is stored on the phone connected to the car; with Android Automotive OS, it is stored in the car’s head unit.
Delete Karpool or Companion data
Android
- Open Settings on the phone (Android Auto and Companion) or in the vehicle (Android Automotive OS).
- Open Apps, then choose Karpool or Karpool Companion.
- Open Storage or Storage & cache.
- Choose Clear storage or Clear data.
Menu names vary by device. Uninstalling the app also removes its app-private data. Clearing Karpool storage removes downloaded songs stored inside its private storage.
iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
- Choose Karpool Companion.
- Choose Delete App, then confirm.
“Offload App” keeps documents and data, so use “Delete App” when you want to remove local data.
Remove individual content
Where a release provides an in-app removal control, you can delete individual downloaded songs there. You can also edit or replace player profiles and settings inside the app. A round reconnect ticket is removed when its round ends. Party reconnect state is removed when you explicitly disconnect or leave, when the party ends, or when you use a new invitation. Local-access and reconnect credentials expire two hours after they were issued or last renewed by party activity. An expired credential stops working and is deleted the next time Companion starts or tries to reconnect.
What the publisher can delete
Because local app data does not reach a Karpool server, we cannot remotely locate or erase it. If you deliberately emailed support logs or other information, ask us to delete that support correspondence by contacting privacy@oikostech.io. Include enough context to identify your message; do not send join codes, Wi-Fi passwords, or microphone recordings.
